Michelle Mullin

Michele Mullin, BSN, RN, CCRN, combines a strong foundation in public health with a passion for critical care. She currently works as a registered nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at UCSF’s Mt. Zion campus and in the Surgery/Trauma Intensive Care Unit at San Francisco General Hospital. Michele also serves as a team lead for the UCSF Roving Community Health Initiative, where her team delivers mobile healthcare services in San Francisco’s Mission and Tenderloin neighborhoods. Through this program, Michele's team provides vaccinations, wound care, medical referrals, overdose prevention services, and connections to substance use treatment.

In Spring 2025, Michele participated as a scholar in CGN's inaugural Certificate in Global Nursing and Clinical Global Scholars programs. As a Clinical Global Scholar, Michele collaborated with ICU staff at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in Eldoret, Kenya, to implement a nursing education program focused on traumatic brain injury management. Michele is also a Program Lead for CGN's Systematic Assessment Resuscitation Training (StART) Pediatric Basic Life Support (BLS) program, a collaboration with Mulgao National Referral Hospital. Michele's global health work also includes disaster relief efforts in Papua New Guinea and Malawi, as well as clinical work in India.
