Mardochee Val

Mardochee Val is a Nurse Anesthetist Supervisor at UCSF. She is of Haitian descent, with both of her parents hailing from the island of Haiti. Born in Boston, MA (home to the third largest Haitian community in the US), Mardochee lived in Haiti until she was 3 years old.
Mardochee graduated from nursing school in 2008 and had the pleasure of educating Haitian women in their native tongue during her community health rotation. Mardochee has also served as co-chair of the CRNA DEI committee and has helped facilitate DEI-focused training and discussions within her department prior to her current role as the CRNA Supervisor.
At CGN, Mardochee has been able to put her bilingual abilities to good use while mentoring Haitian Emergency Nurse Practitioner students for a partnership between UCSF and Partners in Health. Mardochee has always been proud of her heritage and has a deep-rooted passion for helping people.
